Product Quality, Signup & Export Fixes

A round of fixes and improvements across product management, supplier signup, and data exports.

Improvements

  • Automatic product categorization on CSV upload — Products uploaded via CSV are now automatically categorized, so they immediately appear in the correct category and listing pages for suppliers

Supplier Experience

  • Product export emails are now sent to the person who requested the export, rather than a default address
  • Fixed an issue during signup where a declined card prevented adding a different payment method
  • Supplier address information now displays correctly on category pages

Buyer Experience

  • Canadian provinces and territories can now be selected during buyer signup
  • Fixed tradeshow links not redirecting to the correct tradeshow page

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed pagination and product taxonomy issues in the admin panel for improved product quality

Email Verification, SKUs & More

We've introduced email verification for new accounts, added SKU visibility across the platform, and made a number of improvements to mobile experience, product pages, and communication flows.

New Features

  • Email verification — New buyers and suppliers are now prompted to verify their email address. Buyers can skip for now, while supplier verification helps ensure higher-quality wholesalers.
  • Smarter category pages — Category pages now show only the products relevant to that category for each supplier, rather than displaying all of a supplier's products. This makes browsing by category more focused and useful. This leverages the power of AI.
  • SKU visibility — SKUs are now displayed on product pages and product cards in the storefront, making it easier for buyers to reference and reorder specific items
  • Flexible product listings — Traffic plan suppliers can now list products without a product link. When no link is provided, buyers are prompted to send an inquiry directly. Products with links offer both an inquiry option and a direct link to the product page

Improvements

  • Seamless buyer-supplier communication — Order confirmation emails now let buyers and suppliers reply directly to each other, so conversations continue without extra steps
  • Better date formatting — Billing emails now display dates in standard US format for clarity
  • Google Sign-In — Cancelling the Google sign-in flow is now handled gracefully — no need to refresh the page. Additionally, if you try to sign in with email and password but your account is linked to Google, you'll now see a helpful prompt guiding you to use Google Sign-In instead
  • Search bar spacing — Improved spacing and layout in the search bar for a cleaner look
  • Enhanced product validation — Products and images are now continuously verified, so broken links and missing images are automatically detected and removed from search results
  • Smarter product categorization — Products are now automatically assigned to the right categories using AI, so they appear in the most relevant places across the platform
  • Search bar results — The search dropdown now has a fixed height with a scrollbar, making it easier to see and browse through all suggested results

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed an issue on mobile where search text appeared clipped
  • Improved storefront layout on mobile, including the "Show more" button
  • Fixed UI display issues on smaller iPhone screen sizes
  • Product cards now render at a consistent size across all views
  • Fixed minor layout issues on the signup screens
  • Fixed the popular categories dropdown on the homepage not responding to clicks

Storefront Updates

We've improved the mobile storefront experience with smarter navigation and cleaner product browsing.

Improvements

  • The search bar on mobile storefronts now only appears in the Products tab
  • Storefronts without any products no longer display a Products tab
  • On mobile, all products are now listed directly in the Products tab, with collections available in a separate tab
  • SKUs are now visible on product cards in storefronts

Bug Fixes

  • Forgot Password emails now include the Wholesale Central logo
  • Buyers with pending EIN documentation are now prompted to complete it before contacting suppliers
  • Streamlined signup flow for states that don't require EIN numbers
  • Other minor quality-of-life improvements

  • For selected states, the buyer signup form no longer asks for an EIN

  • Fixed the right text showing for out of stock items on product pages
  • Fixed case size and unit price display on the product page buy box, along with font correction on descriptions
  • Clicking the charge button multiple times during checkout no longer causes issues

Google Sign-In Now Available

Sign up and log in faster with your Google account. We've added Google authentication across the platform, making it easier than ever to access Wholesale Central. Already have a password-based account? Simply sign in with Google using the same email to link your accounts.

  • Existing password-based accounts can now link to Google by signing in with the same email
  • Fixed button state after failed signup attempts
  • Corrected redirect flow for admin accounts during Google sign-in
  • Added loading animation on the /apply page

Buyer Experience

  • Buyers who skip document upload can now view the dashboard
  • Buyers must provide business documents before contacting suppliers

What's New — January 19, 2026

Product Editing

  • Fixed an issue where adding variants did not enable the save button at the bottom of the page.

Buyer Experience

  • Buyers can no longer contact suppliers while their inquiry status is in progress.
  • Fixed non-clickable sections on the mobile buyer orders page.

Search

  • Search results now correctly start from page one when performing a new search.
  • When searching within a storefront, only search results are shown — the top row of collections is now hidden for a cleaner experience.

  • Suppliers can now display a "Verified Supplier" badge on their own website to build trust with buyers. Simply replace <SUPPLIER> with your supplier slug and add the following code to your website:

Cart & Inventory
